ACTION TO TAKE TODAY to support homeless community members in active addiction: Dane County Opioid Settlement Subcommittee Meeting

My apologies for the very short notice, however, I'd like to make you aware of an opportunity to support homeless community members who are in active addiction across Dane County. 

HOW YOU CAN HELP: 

I made some calls to clarify how the opioid settlement funds (these are dollars with Dane County government) could be used. I learned that emergency housing and other supports are uses for these dollars for those who are in active addiction. I am asking you to join me today in asking the subcommittee to amend their recommendations, and provide emergency funding as part of their recommendations that will be sent to the full Health & Human Needs Committee.
