Common Council Meeting to be Held in Virtual Format Only Due to Expected Winter Storm & Additional Winter Weather Updates

Due to expected heavy snowfall starting later this evening and continuing through Tuesday, this week’s Common Council meeting will be held in virtual format only. 

To participate in the virtual Common Council meeting on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, and for full meeting details, including the agenda, how to register to speak, how to watch online, and requests for interpretation and accommodations, please visit the following link: https://www.cityofmadison.com/city-hall/committees/common-council/2024-01-09 

Residents can send written comments on agenda items to allalders@cityofmadison.com, or you can call the Common Council Office at (608) 266-4071 to leave a message for the entire Common Council. Council staff will compile and forward messages to the Common Council members. You can also send your comments and questions directly to your specific district alder by email. You can find your alder by entering your address at the following website, www.cityofmadison.com/council/councilmembers/findAlderByAddress.cfm.

Trash & Recycling Collection will also be suspended for Tuesday, January 9, 2024. The drop-off sites will also be closed on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
