- Resurfacing Program March 25 Presentation Now Available: The Annual Street Resurfacing Program is designed to improve the quality of your street and delay the need for total reconstruction. The City Engineering Division rates streets and curb & gutter every two years. A virtual public information meeting was held at 5 p.m., March 25. The 2026 program includes portions of Research Park Blvd, Charmany Drive, and S Whitney Way. The PowerPoint presentation from the meeting is now available online.
- Early In-Person Voting Reminder: City of Madison voters may now cast absentee ballots and register to vote at early voting locations. All early voting locations and hours are listed here. Voters must present an acceptable form of photo ID before receiving an absentee ballot. Voting locations convenient to District 19 include:
- Alicia Ashman Library, 733 N High Point Rd
- Elver Park Neighborhood Center, 1201 McKenna Blvd
- Lussier Community Education Center, 55 S Gammon Rd

- Brush Collection Begins Soon! The 2026 set-out date schedule for the Streets Division's brush schedule pickup is now available on the brush collection website.
Boards, Commissions, and Committee Meetings
Note: This is not a complete list of meetings for this upcoming week. All meetings and their details can be found at the Meeting Schedule page. As in past spring election years, there are relatively few meetings between the end of March and the swearing in of newly elected alders (April 21 this year).
- Plan Commission: The Plan Commission meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 31, at 5:00 p.m. in person in Room 206 of the Madison Municipal Building, 215 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. This is one of several in-person information-only meetings of the Commission each year. This year's presentation includes an update on the Housing Forward initiative and the Housing Snapshot report.
- Board of Health for Madison and Dane County: The Board of Health meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 31, at 5:30 p.m. in person at The Village on Park Street – Atrium Community Room at 2300 S Park Street. Agenda items include authorization of funding to selected applicants to the 2026 Violence Prevention Grant Program.

- Nine Springs Watershed Study, Monday, March 30: A public information meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m., March 30, 2026, via Zoom. Registration prior is required.
- MPD Presentation: Demonstrations and assemblies, Monday, March 30: The Madison Police Department is hosting a presentation on a person's rights during assemblies and demonstrations.
- Virtual Open House | District 3 Parks, Tuesday, March 31: Madison Parks is holding a series of virtual public input sessions for the Southeast Park Development Plan process coinciding with the City Planning Division's Southeast Area Plan.
