The week of November 16 has items of possible interest to residents of district 2 at the Sustainable Madison Committee, the Landmarks Commission, Community Development Block Grant Committee, the Common Council – Discussion (Presentation: Yahara 2070), the Common Council, the Board of Public Works, the Transit and Parking Commission, the Alcohol License Review Committee, the Board of Park Commissioners, the Landlord Tenant Issues Committee, the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Madison Local Food Committee-Public Market Organizational Structure Subcommittee. The city meeting agenda items are open for testimony from the public should you be interested in weighing in.  I also appreciate hearing from you on any items on which you have a particular interest or concern so please send me an email or give me a call.

Authorizing an allocation of up to $600,000 in Housing Development Reserve Funds to assist Housing Initiatives, Inc. to acquire and rehabilitate two properties at 310 E. Mifflin & 103 N. Butler Streets for a total of fourteen (14) units of affordable rental housing for low-income people.

Authorizing the allocation of Affordable Housing Funds to support the creation of approximately 160 units of affordable rental housing in Madison, Wisconsin. Includes Mifflin Street Apartments, submitted by Stone House Development, Inc.
