Northeast Area Plan Public Engagement Events Next Week

The City’s Northeast Area Plan team is preparing to unveil the initial full DRAFT of the plan and invites all residents, business owners, and other stakeholders to participate in the forthcoming public events. Stay tuned for further details about what's in the proposed plan, which should be released by Planning staff soon. I will post a link to the draft Plan when it's available, with some thoughts of my own.

Heads up: some residents may have received or may shortly receive postcards from the City with these event details if they live near any spots where the Northeast Area Plan recommends changes to the street network or zoning. The below events are a great place to bring your questions about those, or feel free to reach out to the staff contacts on the postcards or to me directly: district3@cityofmadison.com.

All events will feature the same content, so community members only need to attend one meeting to share their feedback. A Spanish-speaking staff member will be available at all meetings to assist.
