Madison Fire Announces Free 'AED Library' Program (posted June 4, 2025). AEDs save lives! The Madison Fire Department is making access to their AED Library checkout program easier, and I would be remiss if I did not highlight one important opportunity to Save A Life. It’s summertime and unintended accidents and emergencies happen. Will you be prepared and know what to do? Consider digging a little bit deeper into the City of Madison Fire Emergency Medical Services materials and video cited and included in the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) library and the Hands only CPR video to learn and understand the basics. Someone’s life could depend on it. Become an everyday responder and be prepared (just in case) you are without a cell phone or cell phone service, or you call 911 and you are accidentally put on hold. Download the app and reserve your spot in the class scheduled for June 25, 2025. The class is FREE!
In-Person Absentee Voting Begins Today: (posted June 3, 2025). In-person absentee voting for the June 17 Special Election began on June 3 for those who reside in (Dane County District 1).
Secure Drop Box Now Open for June 17 Special Election: (posted May 30, 2025). The City of Madison’s secure ballot drop box at Fire Station 1 at 316 W Dayton St. is now open for the June 17 Special Election.

As summers heat up with climate change what will Warner Park look and feel like in 2054? What can we individually and collectively support and do to help mitigate those impacts?
Shout Out!
To meet your recycling, reuse or re-purpose needs, consider stopping by and supporting the newly opened GOODWILL thrift shop in the High Point Center next to the Dollar Store and support those with intellectual disabilities.
Your Well-Being
And lastly, activate your smile…say hello, good morning or have a good day to at least five (5) people you’ve never met before. Make it a habit!
Until next time…Be Safe & Be Well!
