District Niners,

It has, and it will continue to get cold.  Winter is yet to arrive.  If you are venturing outside, dress (in layers) as if you are going to be stranded.  If you are driving, make sure your auto is winter ready and again, plan as if you will be stranded.  As you have heard me say time and time again:  plan ahead...it was not raining when Noah built the ark.  Stay warm!

Updates and Notices

Winter Storms and Extreme ColdThe best way to stay safe during extreme winter weather is to be prepared and stay indoors. Learn how to prepare for winter storms.

Just What You Are Looking For

Do you find yourself stuck sipping the same (ho-hum) coffee day in and day out? Are you looking for a change of pace?  Perhaps it's time to diversify your coffee palate experience. There is this charming new place (with lots of ambience) on Odana Rd. in a quiet little strip mall near a photographic equipment business and a delightful Southeast Asian eatery. Inside, folks sitting on bar stools are busy on their computers. Fireplace?  Yes, with comfy seating.  I sampled the bakery goods and they are excellent.  The proprietors are very friendly, the chatter is good, and it's just what you are looking for.

Your Well-being

It's cold out there.  This is not cute weather.  Stay safe, stay warm and be well.
