Línea de BRT Este-Oeste
Ruta A de Metro Rapid
La Ciudad de Madison está construyendo un sistema de autobuses de tránsito rápido (BRT) como parte de un esfuerzo para brindar un mejor acceso a empleos, reducir los tiempos de viaje y mejorar la equidad del tránsito en toda la región.
El sistema BRT comenzará con una línea de este a oeste desde Junction Rd. hasta East Towne a través del centro y el área del campus.
La construcción de carriles exclusivos para autobuses, estaciones de pasajeros y la implementación de autobuses articulados totalmente eléctricos de mayor tamaño durarán hasta el próximo año. Se espera que el sistema entre oficialmente en funcionamiento a finales de 2024.
