Community Resilience Hubs

Community Resilience Hubs are local community spaces that are already familiar to residents but expand their capabilities to support neighborhoods during emergencies.

There are currently two Community Resilience Hubs in Madison:

Boys & Girls Club Allied Family Center

4619 Jenewein Rd, Fitchburg, WI 53711

Elver Park Neighborhood Center

1201 McKenna Blvd, Madison, WI 53719

Boys & Girls Club Allied Family Center

Elver Neighborhood Center

What do Community Resilience Hubs do?

Community Resilience Hubs can provide information and resources to help residents respond to and recover from those events close to home.

These resources could include distribution of supplies, a place to charge a device, relief from the elements, or disaster recovery resources.

When are Community Resilience Hubs needed?

Madison can experience events like severe weather, extreme temperatures, power outages, poor air quality, and floods. These can cause significant disruptions in our daily life.

Community Resilience Hubs act as a safe gathering space to provide some of the resources you may need during a significant disruption.

How can my organization join the Community Resilience Hub Network?

The City of Madison looks forward to expanding the network and collaborating with other community organizations that want to serve their neighbors in this capacity.
