Public Hearing Set for Monday On Opt-Out Policy for Upgraded Water Meters

All residents are invited to participate in a public hearing before Water Utility staff on the subject of a draft opt-out policy for the utility's Project H2O meter replacement program. The hearing comments are being solicited prior to the policy submission to the Public Service Commission for consideration and approval. The hearing will be held Monday, September 24, at 4:30 p.m. at the utility's building at 119 East Olin Avenue. As per City rules, speakers are limited to three minutes each. Written comments and objections will be accepted up to the start of the public hearing. Comments can be submitted either via email to water@madisonwater.org or by U.S. mail to Madison Water Utility, 119 E. Olin Avenue, Madison, WI 53713.
