MPD responds to domestic disturbance Sunday morning

Incident Details
A man physically assaulted a woman during a domestic incident early Sunday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Sand Pearl Lane at 3:05 a.m.
Two adults in the home were able to stop the assault.
The suspect was not at the apartment when police arrived. He was armed when the incident occurred.
The suspect was located in McFarland and taken into custody.
Reggie D. Golden, 40, was arrested and taken to the Dane County Jail for felon in possession of a firearm, domestic disorderly conduct, domestic battery, domestic strangulation and second-degree recklessly endangering safety.
This is an ongoing investigation.
