From 6:00am on May 14 to 6:00am on May 15, we received 457 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.

Thursday, May 14:
Priority calls only from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, and from 6:15pm to 4:25am due to calls for service.
- 6:08am - East– Death Investigation: Officers responded to a residence where a 67-year-old woman was found deceased. Nothing suspicious on scene.
- 9:23am - East – OMVWI: Officers responded to a parking lot where the 46-year-old male suspect was slumped over in his vehicle. The suspect was arrested and charged with OWI 2nd and possession of cocaine.
- 9:27am - South – Disturbance: Officers responded to a school where a juvenile had thrown rocks, broken a window, and threatened staff with a stick. Officers notified MMSD staff and contacted the mother, who took the child home.
- 9:41am - South – Adult Arrest Warrant: Officers located a 30-year-old male suspect who had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was taken into custody and conveyed to jail without incident.
- 10:34am - North – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a residence where the 49-year-old male suspect slapped the victim. The suspect was arrested and charged with domestic battery.
- 11:07am - West – Child Abuse: A school social worker contacted police after observing injuries on a juvenile. CPS was consulted. The 27-year-old female suspect was arrested and charged with child abuse.
- 4:22pm - Central – Sex Offense Misc: Officers responded to the 400 block of State St where the 70-year-old male suspect and 31-year-old female suspect were engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct. Both suspects were arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior.
- 4:32pm - Central – Disturbance: Officers responded to the 100 block of State St where two male suspects, 51 and 35 years old, were fighting. The 35-year-old suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct and conveyed to jail. The 51-year-old suspect was cited for municipal disorderly conduct.
- 8:25pm - Central – Disturbance: Officers responded to an apartment building where the 25-year-old female suspect, who did not live there, was banging on the door. A resident let her in and when officers arrived, they located her in a stairwell. The suspect was arrested and charged with battery to LE, threats to LE, resisting, disorderly conduct, obstructing and trespass.
- 8:31pm - East – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a residence where the 20-year-old male suspect broke the victim's phone. The suspect was arrested and charged with domestic disorderly conduct and damage to property.
- 9:04pm - North – Check Person: Officers responded to a residence where a man was reportedly thinking about harming himself and had someone locked in the basement. Officers determined that the man had a history of suspected methamphetamine use, possible mental health issues, and was known to possess firearms. SWAT and other MPD resources were assembled. Officers contacted the residents who exited the home and gave officers consent to search the home. No hostage was located.
