Apply for a Scholarship (if interested)
Through a Madison Parks Foundation donation, the Goodman Pool is able to offer scholarships to those who need it for annual passes; daily passes do not qualify for assistance. You may skip this step if you do not need a scholarship.
Submit Scholarship Application
After submitting your scholarship application, it may take up to 3 business days for staff to review your application. If you purchase an annual pass before your scholarship application is reviewed, we are not able to apply any reduced rates this year.
You will receive an email with your scholarship determination results. Any reduced rates will automatically apply to your cart.
-
Purchase a Pass
The Goodman Pool offers both daily and annual passes. Prices vary for youth, adults, seniors and families. Learn more about admission pricing.
Annual Pass
You may also purchase an annual pass at the Goodman Pool.
Daily Pass
Daily admission passes must be purchased at the Goodman Pool.
-
Enter the Pool: Show Barcode
When you arrive at the pool, scan the QR code to access your personal barcode. Everyone in your household will have a different barcode.
When staff scan your barcode, they will see whether you have an annual pass or need to purchase a daily pass.
Photo Required
Staff will verify your account includes a photo for each visitor age 3 years or older. If you do not have a photo yet or your picture on file is out of date, staff will take a new picture before you can enter the pool.
Pool Waiver
Background
In summer 2025, following increasing and escalating negative behaviors at the Goodman Pool, we began enforcing a new Youth Attendance Policy, approved by the Board of Park Commissioners. The policy supplemented the existing rule for children 10 years or younger, who must be accompanied and actively supervised by a caregiver aged 16 or older. The policy required all Pool visitors aged 11 to 15 years old to be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have a parent/guardian completed and staff-verified Youth Attendance Waiver.
Since that time, Parks staff worked with community members and the City attorney to create a process that helps ensure a safe and enjoyable pool experience for everyone. All pool visitors will need to complete a Pool Waiver and have a recent photo (taken by Parks staff) on file.
