Officers conduct 11 traffic stops in construction zone

Officers targeted the area of John Nolen Drive at North Shore Drive during proactive traffic enforcement last Wednesday. 

On the night of June 3, construction workers were present when officers conducted 11 stops for failure to stop at a stop sign.

There was one additional stop for a one-way driver.

The Madison Police Department is targeting unsafe driving behaviors as part of the Summer Traffic Safety Initiative.
