Madison Police Break Up Fight At Goodman Pool

Madison Police were called to Goodman Pool around 4:30pm for a possible disturbance. Police arrived on scene and provided extra patrol around the pool area. Around 6pm, officers were told there were fights occurring as individuals were leaving the pool. Madison Police remained in the area until the pool closed at 7pm. After the pool closed, several juveniles got into multiple physical altercations. Officers on scene utilized OC spray to stop the fighting after verbal commands were ineffective. Additional officers then arrived and remained on scene until all juveniles were off Goodman Pool property. Madison Police did offer EMS to those OC sprayed and they declined. Juveniles that were detained during the fighting were given Restorative Justice forms and turned over to responsible adults.
