From 6:00am on July 7 to 6:00am on July 8, we received 475 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:

- Other: 15
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Tuesday, July 7:
9:14am – North – Stolen Auto: A vehicle was reported stolen. Attempt to locate aired. The vehicle was listed as stolen in the appropriate databases.
- 10:24am – North – Death Investigation: Officers responded to a motel for a report of a deceased subject (27-year-old male). Drugs/drug paraphernalia located by the decedent. Medical Examiner's office responded.
- 11:01am – South – Drug Overdose: Officers responded to a report of an overdose involving a 17-year-old male. The subject was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. The subject was found to be in possession of a realistic looking Glock BB-Gun.
- 5:41pm – North – Adult Arrested Person: A 35-year-old male subject was arrested after he threatened, intimidated, and harassed his former partner. The subject sent the victim dozens of text messages, showed up at their workplace, and sent them an unwanted sexually-explicit video. The subject was arrested for sending obscene/sexually explicit electronic messages, unlawful use of computerized communication systems, disorderly conduct, and felony bail jumping.
- 5:55pm – Midtown – Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 32-year-old male subject. The subject was observed punching a glass door to a business, attempting to assault staff, and squaring off as if he wanted to fight. The subject was contacted inside of a business. The subject was bleeding and was uncooperative/resistive with officers. The subject was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital. The subject was belligerent with officers and medical staff making racial rants and threats. The subject was arrested/conveyed to jail after a medical clearance was obtained. The subject was charged with disorderly conduct (2 counts), criminal damage to property, threats to law enforcement, and resisting.
- 6:03pm – East – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a residence for a 911 disconnect. Contact made with two subjects. Information was obtained that a 34-year-old male subject threatened to physically hurt the victim. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and possession of MDMA.
- 9:02pm – Central – Adult Arrested Person: Officers responded to a report of a 27-year-old male subject outside of a business acting strange and being loud/boisterous. The subject, known to officers, has bail conditions to not be in possession of/consume alcohol. The subject was contacted and found to be in possession of alcohol. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and open intoxicants. He was also arrested for misdemeanor bail jumping (2 counts).
- 9:18pm – East – Domestic Disturbance:
- 11pm – Central – Drug Investigation: Two subjects (33-year-old male driver/29-year-old male passenger) were observed slumped over in a vehicle that was parked illegally. The vehicle was running and had the lights on. After several knocks on the windows, the subjects came to. The driver was found to be impaired. He refused field sobriety tests and was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. Search of the vehicle yield drug paraphernalia, nitrous oxide tanks, and other items. Additional charges for the driver – possession with intent to deliver nitrous oxide (9 counts) with 2nd and subsequent enhancer, possession of cocaine with 2nd and subsequent enhancer, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding warrant out of Iowa. The passenger was arrested for possession with intent to distribute nitrous oxide (9 counts) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
