Number of calls
From 6:00am on July 13 to 6:00am on July 14, we received 467 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:

- East: 96
- Midtown: 59
- North: 72
- South: 48
- West: 86
- Other: 8
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Monday, July 13:
6:07am – Central – Crash: Officers responded to E. Mifflin St/N Blair St for a semi vs. e-bike crash. The e-bicyclist did not stop at a stop sign and struck the semi (transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries). The e-bicyclist was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
- 7:09am – East – Adult Arrested Person: Officers responded to a disturbance that took place between co-workers where one of the involved (32-year-old male) displayed a gun. The subject asked the victim if they wanted to fight. The victim got in their vehicle and left. The suspect followed the victim in his vehicle. The subject pointed the gun at the victim and stated he was going to shoot them. The victim went home and called police. Officers responded to the suspect's address and located the vehicle with the handgun in plain view. Contact was made with the suspect. The subject was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, 2nd degree reckless endangering safety, and disorderly conduct while armed.
- 3:22pm – Midtown – Trespassing: Officers responded to a restaurant for a 25-year-old male subject refusing to leave the premises. Officers made contact with the subject who provided a fake name. The subject was arrested for obstructing and issued a municipal citation for trespassing.
- 3:35pm – South – Death Investigation: Officers received a request to check the welfare of a 56-year-old male subject who had not been able to be contacted by family. The subject was observed on the ground of his apartment. Officers made entry and located the subject deceased. It was reported that the subject had significant health/medical concerns. Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.
- 4:30pm – East – Trespassing: Officers responded to a report of a 49-year-old female subject refusing to leave a restaurant after being asked to leave by staff. Officers contacted the subject and gave her numerous opportunities to leave the area on her own. The subject refused to cooperate. The subject was arrested for trespassing and conveyed to jail to post on the municipal citation.
- 5:19pm – Central – Trespassing: Officers responded to a trespassing complaint involving a 32-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and issued a municipal citation for trespassing.
- 11:55pm – East – Adult Arrested Person: A 36-year-old male subject showed up at the men's shelter past curfew and is denied access. The subject became upset and attempted to push through staff. The subject kicked a door causing damage. The subject was arrested for criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, battery, and municipal trespassing.
Tuesday, July 14:
- 1:51am – North – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a 911 disconnect. A domestic disturbance was found to have occurred involving a 28-year-old male subject. The subject physically assaulted the victim who was holding their infant. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, domestic battery, felony bail jumping, and misdemeanor bail jumping.
- 5:13am – East – Adult Arrested Person: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person (32-year-old male) knocking on doors to a residential building. The subject was contacted/detained. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.
