Community-driven leadership in action: MMSD has scheduled two virtual public hearings on Thursday, July 23, to discuss the ongoing renaming processes for Conrad A. Elvehjem Elementary School and Charles Lindbergh Elementary School.
Ensuring our school names reflect the diverse history, values, and identity of Madison is a collaborative effort. Today, the Citizens' Naming Committees released the proposed names under consideration.
We invite students, families, staff, and local partners to participate in this milestone step:
📍 Elvehjem Elementary Hearing: July 23 | 6:00 - 7:00 PM (Zoom)
📍 Lindbergh Elementary Hearing: July 23 | 7:30 - 8:30 PM (Zoom)
How to participate:
- To speak live or submit written comments: Register in advance through the district's online public engagement portal.
- To watch: The hearings will be livestreamed on the Board of Education's YouTube channel.
