No damage or casings located as officers respond to reports of shots fired

The Madison Police Department is investigating reports of shots fired from early Saturday morning.

Officers were dispatched to a restaurant along the 1800 block of S. Park St. around 1:15 a.m.

Security working a private party at the business called for police after hearing gunshots. They told officers there was an altercation inside before people were kicked out of the business.

Officers canvassed the area and no shell casings or signs of damage were located.

No injuries were reported.
