The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last 24 hours.

Number of calls
From 6:00am on July 23 to 6:00am on July 24, we received 430 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:
- Central: 105
- East: 84
- Midtown: 61
- North: 76
- South: 41
- West: 53
- Other: 10
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the city. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Thursday, July 23:
- 7:34am - Central – Stolen Auto: A victim reported that her car was stolen sometime overnight. The vehicle was listed as stolen and an ATL was aired.
- 9:12am - West – Check Person: Officers responded to an apartment complex where a leak was discovered coming from an apartment. Officers and members of CARES contacted the resident who has a history of mental health issues. Journey Mental Health later supported an emergency detention and officers placed the man into protective custody. The man was transported to a hospital.
- 5:45pm - Central – Battery: Officers responded to the Beacon where the victim was found on the ground disoriented. Witnesses described an altercation and provided a brief suspect description. Officers developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for substantial battery once identified. Investigation continuing.
- 9:25pm - Central – Disturbance: While officers were in the 400 block of State St investigating a disturbance, the 53-year-old male suspect interfered with the interview of a victim. The suspect was arrested and charged with resisting and disorderly conduct.
- 10:25pm - South – Runaway Juvenile: Family members reported that a 16-year-old girl ran away from home. The juvenile was listed as missing and an ATL was aired.
