Woman arrested in recent hit-and-run crash

The Madison Police Department arrested a woman Wednesday afternoon following a disturbance where a person was struck by a vehicle.
An investigation began on Aug. 9 when officers were dispatched to a business parking lot along the 2600 block of E. Washington Ave. around 11:05 p.m.
An employee heard a commotion outside and found a woman injured in the parking lot. The employee and other witnesses were able to provide a description of the suspect's vehicle to responding officers.
The victim was conscious when police arrived on scene. She was treated by Madison Fire Department personnel for her injuries and transported to the hospital. The victim sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers reviewed public space cameras and business security camera video. The vehicle involved in this incident has since been located and traffic investigators began the process of determining who was operating the vehicle at the time of the incident
Ether R. Green, 32, was arrested Aug. 18 on first-degree attempted intentional homicide, hit-and-run and battery charges.
This is an open and active investigation.
