Animal Disturbance

Madison officers responded to the 200 block of Swanton Dr for a reported animal disturbance. 

The caller was reporting that they were walking their dog when another dog broke free from a nearby home and began attacking their dog. 

The caller tried to intervene and was bitten several times. The homeowner exited and was able to get their dog to release its bite. 

The caller was treated by EMS for minor injuries, and their dog is expected to be okay.
