Upcoming: Special Meeting for the Community Service

Hello!

Learn more about the organizations that are providing opportunities for our youth to thrive in a safe and inclusive environment. Unfortunately, there was not enough funding to support all the requests received and in many cases, there was not enough funding to apply 100% of the funds requested.

In my role as an alder, the CDD webpage has been a great resource of information. The current and past funding opportunity pages contain the RFP applicants for each type of grant. Those RFP's contain in detail the programming information each non-profit offers. It is a great way to learn about their work, the resources available, their need for volunteer hours, and their need for financial support. You can make a difference by getting involved.

Staff provided a list of recommendations to the Community Service Committee (CSC). CSC will be meeting on Monday in a Special Session to review the recommendations. The item will come to Council for final approval in time to have contracts begin on January 1, 2023
