The Metro Network Redesign process is coming to a close this month with a Final Network Redesign Public Meeting on Thursday and an additional survey looking to gather information on Effects on Those with Disabilities open through Friday.

On Monday, the Transportation Policy & Planning Board will get a presentation from staff on the feedback received over the last several months as well as the full list of potential amendments that will be considered for the draft plan. The board will consider Adopting the Metro Network Redesign Plan again at its 5/31 meeting when it will hold a public hearing on the plan and again on 6/6 when it will vote on potential amendments and a final plan to recommend to the Common Council meeting of 6/7.

LENA meeting

If it's not raining, plan to meet at San Damiano, by the front door of the old house, at 6:30p.m., for the Lake Edge Neighborhood Association monthly meeting. The President of the San Damiano Friends group, Andrew Kitslaar, will give us a tour of the property and fill us in on what's next for Lake Edge's 'front yard'. After the tour and update we will meet to discuss plans for our August 14 LENA neighborhood picnic. If possible, bring a folding chair with you! More details here.
