Vote on Tuesday!

The spring election is on Tuesday with County Supervisor, School Board Member, and Circuit Court and Court of Appeal seats on the ballot. The City Clerk’s Office encourages voters to confirm their polling place before the April 5 Spring Election. Many polling places in the City of Madison have changed because of redistricting. The Clerk’s Office sent postcards to voters in areas impacted by polling place changes in early March. Voters can view a sample ballot for their address on the MyVote Wisconsin website.

3900 Monona Drive Meeting

On Thursday, Threshold Development Group will share information on their proposal to redevelop 3900 Monona Drive. Four existing buildings—the current Java Cat location and the former Jade Monkey, Exhaust Pro, and tattoo shop locations—would be demolished, and a new, five-story, mixed-use building constructed. There would be approximately 6,300 square feet of first floor commercial space and a total of 69 apartment units on the upper four floors, with 77 underground and 23 surface parking stalls. The proposed project would require rezoning from Neighborhood Mixed Use (NMX) to Traditional Shopping Street (TSS). You can register for the zoom meeting here.
