What is Road Striping and Why Does it Matter?Every summer, the City of Madison Traffic Engineering Department refreshes many of the lines on City streets. These bright markings help:

One street will be closed this weekend for the annual Madison Gospel 5K, 10K Run/Walk & Health Fair near Penn Park.

Two streets will be closed for the Fete De Marquette event at McPike Park this week.

Multiple streets will be closed this weekend for the annual Art Fair on the Square and Art Fair off the Square events.

Starting Monday, July 14th, Cherokee Drive at Nakoma Road will close to through traffic and re-open July 23rd. Manitou Way will temporarily be re-opened for this AT&T work and will re-close July 23rd.
