Urban Forestry Special Charge
The special charge is included on the Municipal Services (water) bill. The charge pays for Urban Forestry operations.
In 2025, the special charge is $7.56 a month for residential customers.
In 2026, the special charge will be $7.63 a month for residential customers
Rate Charges
By December 1 of each year, the parcel count and frontage apportionment ratio will be updated by using data maintained by the Madison Water Utility and the City Assessor's Office, and also taking into account any approved requests made by homeowner's associations or developers.
