    Pickup for residents that had a 11/30/25 set out date that did not get a leaf pickup then due to the snowstorm, and not collected during the January 2026 makeup attempt. Details on the leaf collection webpage.

Do Not Tap Public Maple Trees

Drilling into trees is harmful and it can spread disease.

Per Madison General Ordinance 23.24 (Breaking, Damaging or Injuring Trees, Shrubs) tapping for sap in a maple or other type of tree is not allowed.

Do not do this.
