Imagination Center at Reindahl Park Update + Meeting and Event Highlights for the Week of April 14, 2025

posted

Hello,

Tomorrow at noon I will be sworn in to serve my second term as your Alder for District 17. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving in this capacity and will send another update this week about my thoughts on my next term.

Updates on the Imagination Center at Reindahl Park (Library):

The bids to build the library came in under budget. On April 9th the Board of Public Works met to award the contract to Corporate Contractors Inc. Former District 17 Alder Joe Clausius who served as Alder from 2007 and 2015 and began the work to build the library serves on the Board of Public Works and made the motion to accept the contract which passed with unanimous support.

Please note the following item will be on tomorrow's Common Council agenda (Tuesday, April 15th).  "The proposed resolution authorizes the awarding of the contract for the Imagination Center at Reindahl Park."
