postedBoards, Commissions, and Committee Meetings
Note: This is not a complete list of meetings for this upcoming week. All meetings and their details can be found at the Meeting Schedule page.
- Finance Committee: The Finance Committee meeting will take place on Monday, July 28, at 4:30 p.m. in virtual format. Agenda items include authorizing the issuance of up to $137,910,000 in general obligation promissory notes.
- Plan Commission: The Plan Commission meeting will take place on Monday, July 28, at 5:30 p.m. in virtual format. Agenda items include revising the area plan sequence (Item# 89107), which would shift the timing of the Near West Area Plan—covering parts of District 11, including the entire Westmorland neighborhood—to take place between Fall 2026 and Spring 2028. This change is intended to align with UW–Madison’s upcoming Campus Framework planning process, which will update the university’s 2019 Campus Master Plan (approved by the City under MGO 28.097) and falls largely within the Downtown and Near West Area Plan boundaries.
