Weapons Violation - Case #2025-423426

Incident Details
On 9/24/2025 just after 4:00 p.m., MPD officers were dispatched to the 6000 block of Schroeder Rd. for a call of shots fired from a moving vehicle. It does not appear that any person was struck by gunfire, and no property damage was located in the area. Responding officers closed the roadway for a period of time to assist in evidence collection and scene canvassing.
Fired shell casings were recovered in the area and will be processed by Detectives and Investigators as a part of this investigation. Digital evidence is also being reviewed. At this time, no suspects have been identified, and no charges have been filed.
Of note, there is no known or suspected connection between this incident and the shooting incident in the 5900 block of Schroeder Rd. on 9/25/2025 (MPD case 25-425661).
