Incident Details
An MPD officer attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle that ultimately fled the scene.
A short time later officers located the vehicle, unoccupied, in the area. Officers approached the car and during their investigation, the driver approached them.
Officers go to detain the suspect, and the suspect begins fighting with them. During the struggle, an officer sustained a minor injury.
A search of the suspect and the car is conducted, and the suspect is arrested for possession of drugs, battery to law enforcement, and resisting arrest.
