- Smart Salt Use: The Friends of Owen Conservation Park are hosting a presentation titled “Paving the Way for Smart Street and Sidewalk Salt Use”. The talk by Allison Madison of the Wisconsin SaltWise Program will take place December 2 from 4:00 to 5:30 PM at the Alicia Ashman Library, 733 N High Point Rd. There will be refreshments, giveaways and a drawing for prizes.
