Number of calls
From 6:00am on December 10 to 6:00am on December 11, we received 403 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:

- Other: 9
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the city. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Wednesday, December 10:
- 8:32am - West – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a residence where the 37-year-old male suspect was yelling and slamming doors. The suspect then backed a car into a closed garage door. The suspect was arrested and charged with domestic disorderly conduct.
- 12:00 noon - East – Unwanted Person: Officers responded to a residence where a 36-year-old female suspect was refusing to leave after being asked by the resident. The suspect was arrested on a warrant and conveyed to jail.
- 12:24pm - Midtown – Death Investigation: Officers responded to a residence where a 72-year-old man was found deceased. Nothing suspicious on scene.
- 12:45pm - Central – Disturbance: Officers responded to an apartment building where a woman was banging on other residents' doors. CARES also responded. Officers conveyed the woman to a hospital for a mental health evaluation. The woman was admitted to the hospital.
- 1:24pm - Central – Disturbance: Festival Foods staff reported that the 63-year-old female suspect was yelling at people in the store, taking pictures and asking for money to delete them. The suspect was arrested for trespassing.
- 5:31pm - West – OMVWI: Officers responded to an apartment complex where the 83-year-old male suspect crashed into two cars. The suspect performed poorly on SFST and was arrested and charged with OWI 5th.
- 8:51pm - Midtown – Disturbance: Officers responded to a hospital where the 32-year-old male suspect was throwing things and threatening staff. Officers consulted with Journey Mental Health and placed the suspect into protective custody. Journey supported an emergency detention. Officers developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for threats to health care provider and damage to property.
- 9:51pm - Midtown – Weapons Offense Shots Fired: Officers responded to the area of Park St and Regent St. Officers located fired shell casings but no property damage. Dispatch received no reports of injured persons. Incident report completed on MPD website.
Thursday, December 11:
- 4:10am - Central – Disturbance: Officers responded to an apartment for a report of a man knocking on a door. A 47-year-old male suspect and a 45-year-old female suspect were arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
