Number of calls
From 6:00am on December 17 to 6:00am on December 18, we received 462 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:

"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Wednesday, December 17:
- 2:58am - North – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 34-year-old female suspect. The suspect and victim got into a verbal argument. The suspect pushed the victim and struck the victim in the face. The victim sustained visible injuries. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery.
- 5:55am - Central – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 19-year-old male suspect. The caller/roommate of the suspect asked him to turn down the music. The suspect responded by pushing the roommate several times. The suspect was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
- 2:18pm - North – Check Person: Officers responded to a report of a subject screaming for help. Contact made with several subjects. Mental health concerns identified. Resources provided to the family. No law enforcement actions taken and officers disengaged.
- 3:13pm - East – Suspicious Person: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person complaint. Officers made contact with 3 subjects in a vehicle. There was an estimated 500-700 pounds of coax cable in the vehicle. A 45-year-old male subject was arrested for theft. Investigation continuing.
- 3:44pm - South – Death Investigation: Officers responded to a report of a deceased subject (75-year-old female). The decedent had health/medical concerns. Medical Examiner’s office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.
- 7:41pm - Central – Disturbance Unwanted Person: Officers responded to a business for an unwanted person complaint (74-year-old female). Officers made contact with the suspect and asked her to leave the premises. The suspect refused. The suspect was heavily intoxicated and bothering other customers. The suspect was escorted outside to be issued a trespassing citation, but the suspect began to resist officers. The suspect was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting, and cited for trespass after notification.
- 11:42pm - South – Adult Arrested Person: A 40-year-old male suspect, with an active probation/parole violation, was located and taken into custody. The suspect was transported to jail.
Thursday, December 18:
- 12:12am - South – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 23-year-old male suspect. The suspect pushed the victim. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery.
- 2:29am - Central – Strong Armed Robbery: Officers responded to a strong armed robbery involving a 19-year-old male suspect. The suspect demanded money from the victim (a known acquaintance). The victim refused. The suspect grabbed the victim by the neck, put them in a headlock, and they go to the ground. The victim sent the suspect money via Venmo. The suspect demanded more money. The victim was able to get away and run. The suspect was arrested for strong armed robbery, battery, and disorderly conduct.
