The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last 24 hours.

From 6:00am on December 23 to 6:00am on December 24, we received 413 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:

- West: 81
- Other: 11
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

Tuesday, December 23:
Priority calls only from 9:48am to 12:29pm due to calls for service.

- 3:54am - North – Drug Incident: Officers were proactively patrolling in the 4800 block of Hayes Road. A vehicle was observed to be occupied with 4 subjects in a parking lot. One of the occupants saw the police and exited the vehicle. Officers made contact with the subject who provided false identification. An investigation took place that led to officers observing drug paraphernalia in plain view in the vehicle. The 3 other occupants of the vehicle were detained. A search of the vehicle yielded meth, cocaine heroin, and drug paraphernalia. Clothing items with security tags attached were located in the vehicle. A 41-year-old male subject was arrested for possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing, and bail jumping. A 35-year-old male subject was arrested for bail jumping (2 counts), obstructing, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A 63-year-old male subject was arrested on a parole violation. A 47-year-old male subject was arrested for possession of heroin.
- 9:23am - North – Drug Incident: A search warrant was executed on Spenser Lane reference a drug investigation. Numerous subjects contacted. 4 subjects were ultimately arrested for outstanding warrants. Investigation continuing. Subjects arrested: all males, ages 40, 44, 43, and 55.
- 9:57am - North – Adult Arrested Person: Department of Corrections requested MPD assist with a transport of a 38-year-old male subject to jail. The subject was kicking the windows of the transport vehicle. The subject was cooperative with MPD officers and the subject was safely transported to jail.
- 9:57am - East – Sexual Assault: Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault that occurred overnight. Investigation continuing.
- 11:56am - West – Adult Arrested Person: Officers responded to a local hotel for a customer/subject (44-year-old male) who refused to pay/leave his room. Contact made with the subject who provided false identification to officers. Officers went to detain the subject when he started to actively resist them. The subject was arrested/charged with resisting causing minor tissue injury, possession of cocaine, and an outstanding warrant. Additional charges to be added at the jail as the subject resisted deputies during the booking process.
- 12:14pm - East – Disturbance/Unwanted Person: A 48-year-old male subject, banned from the Motel 6, entered the property and a room. Staff attempted to get the subject to leave the premises, but he refused. Officers arrived and arrested the subject for trespassing and a probation/parole hold.
- 2:08pm - East – Theft: Officers responded to Target for a retail theft in progress. A vehicle, occupied by 3 subjects, was pointed out to by staff to officers. A traffic stop was conducted and the 3 subjects were contacted/detained. A 23-year-old female subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting, and retail theft. A 35-year-old male subject and a 24-year-old female subject were cited for retail theft.
- 2:24pm - West – Adult Arrested Person: Probation/Parole requested MPD take a 44-year-old male subject into custody for violating his probation/parole rules. Subject located, arrested, and transported to jail.
- 5:02pm - North – Disturbance: Officers responded to a local hospital for a disturbance involving a 53-year-old female subject. The subject was yelling profanities, smoking cigarettes, and refusing to leave the premises. A search incident to arrest yielded prescriptions not prescribed to the subject. The subject was arrested for trespassing and threats to law enforcement (she threatened to beat up an officer).
- 7:40pm - Midtown – Runaway Juvenile: A 15-year-old female was reported as a runaway. The minor has a history of running away. Attempt to locate aired. Areas checked. The minor was listed as missing/runaway in the appropriate databases.
- 8:01pm - Midtown – Battery: Officers responded to a local hospital after a patient/subject (68-year-old male) physically assaulted a staff member. The subject was arrested for battery to a healthcare provider, bail jumping (2 counts), and a probation hold.
- 10:45pm - East – Adult Arrested Person: Officers responded to a report of a 53-year-old male subject on a metro bus who urinated on himself and passed out. The subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
- 10:56pm - West – Violation of Court Order: A 40-year-old male subject was found to be in violation of a restraining order. The subject was arrested and transported to jail.
