The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last 24 hours.

Number of calls
From 6:00am on December 25 to 6:00am on December 26, we received 205 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:
- Central: 25
- East: 49
- Midtown: 33
- North: 45
- South: 18
- West: 28
- Other: 7
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the city. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Thursday, December 25:
- 5:27am - Central – Found Property: Officers responded for a report of found keys located close to the scene of an armed robbery that occurred earlier in the night.
- 10:44am - Central – Trespass: Officers responded to Walgreens where the 49-year-old female suspect was present despite having been banned. The suspect was arrested and conveyed to jail for trespassing.
- 11:48am - East – Domestic Disturbance: A victim reported that the 26-year-old male suspect battered her and damaged property at her residence. Officers developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for domestic strangulation, battery, disorderly conduct, damage to property and theft. Suspect is at large.
- 3:26pm - South – OMVWI: The 32-year-old male driver/suspect was traveling westbound on the beltline when he struck two vehicles and fled the scene. The suspect was arrested and charged with OWI 1st, resisting, and hit and run.
- 5:12pm - West – Disturbance: The victim reported that the 41-year-old male suspect confronted him in a parking lot and attempted to hit him with a shovel. The suspect was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct while armed and threats to LE.
- 8:14pm - North – Disturbance: Officers responded to Kwik Trip where the 36-year-old female suspect was causing a disturbance. Officers learned that the suspect was fighting with a victim in a vehicle before going into Kwik Trip. The suspect was arrested and charged with battery, disorderly conduct, resisting, and threats to LE.
- 9:44pm - West – Adult Arrest Warrant: Officers made contact with a 50-year-old male suspect who had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and conveyed to jail.
- 11:27pm - East – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a residence where the 26-year-old female suspect bit the victim and damaged property in the home. The suspect was arrested and charged with domestic disorderly conduct, battery, and damage to property.
- 11:55pm - Midtown – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a residence where the 33-year-old male suspect struck the victim. The suspect was arrested and charged with domestic disorderly conduct.
Friday, December 26:
- 3:47am - Midtown – Disturbance: Officers responded to a hospital where the 41-year-old male suspect assaulted security guards. The suspect was placed into protective custody and an emergency detention was pursued. The suspect was charged with battery to health care provider and disorderly conduct.
