Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
- Capitol Square North Garage
General public and ADA stations allow charging of two general vehicles and one ADA vehicle, all located at on the South side of level 2, near E. Mifflin St.
- Overture Center Garage
General public station allows simultaneous charging of one vehicle at level 1 and one vehicle at level 2, both located on the North side of the garage, near W. Dayton St. ADA station allows for the charging of one vehicle near the W. Mifflin St. entrance at level 1.
- South Livingston Street Garage
General public station allows the charging of two general vehicles at Bay BB of level 2. Station at Bay BB of level 1 allows the charging of one ADA vehicle and one general vehicle.
- State Street Campus Garage, Lake Street Entrance
General public and ADA stations allow charging of two general vehicles and one ADA vehicle, all located at level 1.
- Wingra Lot
General public and ADA stations allow charging of two general vehicles and one ADA vehicle, located near the Monroe St. entrance.
- Wilson Street Garage (coming soon)
General public and ADA stations allow charging of three general vehicles and one ADA vehicle, located at the North side of level L, near E. Doty St.
Madison Gas and Electric has provided 8 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) in City of Madison parking facilities as part of a pilot program to study their use and reliability. Each facility contains one ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant charging station and one station available to the general public.
Please note that the charging of electric vehicles in City of Madison Parking Garages is permitted at authorized charging stations only. The use of unauthorized electrical outlets for charging electric vehicles or for any other purpose is not allowed.
