Explanation of Rates

Hourly Rates

Hourly rates in City-operated garages vary by location and are in effect 24/7, including Sundays and Holidays.  Rates are charged in half hour increments.

Exceptions

  • Evenings and weekends hourly fees are charged up to a maximum of $8 per day.
  • This rate is not valid during special events.
  • If you lose your entrance ticket you will be charged the daily lost ticket fee of $30.

Weekend/Evening Rates

$8 is the maximum cost to park in the cashiered section of City-operated garages during weekday evenings (6:00 pm - 5:00 am the following morning). Vehicles parked before or after these periods will be charged the hourly rate for that location for the additional time.

On Saturday and Sunday, hourly rates are charged up to a maximum of $8 per day (5:00 am - 5:00 am the following morning). Vehicles parked before or after these periods will be charged the hourly rate for that location for the additional time.  

Exceptions

  • This rate is not valid in the metered section of State Street Capitol Garage.  
  • This rate is not valid during special events.
  • If you lose your entrance ticket you will be charged the daily lost ticket fee.
  • During a Declared Snow Emergency you may park in the cashiered sections of City-operated garages for no charge from 9:00 pm – 7:00 am.
