Staffed Warming Shelter with Concessions and Rentals Open*:

Monday - Thursday: 4:00 - 8:00pm (shelter/restrooms open by 9am)
Friday: 4:00 - 9:00pm (shelter/restrooms open by 9am)
Saturday: 11:00am - 9:00pm
Sunday: 11:00am - 6:00pm

Thanks to our partnership with Central Cross Country Ski Association (CXC) and support of Madison Nordic Ski Club (MadNorSki), Elver Park has a regularly groomed machine-made snow loop, approx. 1km. 

A daily or annual ski permit is required and may be purchased ONLINE or at the kiosk on site. A 2020 annual permit is valid through 12/31/20.  

Equipment Available (based on open amenities):
  • Cross-Country Classic-Style Skis & Sit-Skis - one person, accessible
    • Adult: $9/hour (includes daily ski pass)
    • Youth (15 and younger): $5/hour
    • $5/ each additional hour
  • Snowshoes
    • Adults: $5/hr 
    • Youth (15 and younger):$2/hr
    • $2/ each additional hour
  • Sleds
    • $2/per hour, or $20/sled
