Park History
In March of 1983, the Park Commission unanimously approved the recommendation of Ald. Nan Cross and the BANA Neighborhood Association to name the park property 'located at Bram and Beld Streets the "Kenneth Newville Park".Kenneth Newville was a longtime resident of Bram's Addition and a pastor at St. Paul AME Church. He also helped open the South Madison Neighborhood Center in 1949.
