Lap Swim begins Friday, June 13. Limited lanes are available. During high demand, lanes must be shared and/or swim times reduced to 30 minutes per person.

Tot Time begins Friday, June 13. It's an easy, quieter time for a parent or guardian to come with, ideally, one or two children aged 10 years and younger to enjoy the zero-depth area with water features, catch pool and shallow end. An adult must be present for the duration and within arm's reach of their children at all times. Slides are not available. Access to Tot Time allows you same-day entrance to Recreation Open Swim with a handstamp.

  • Fridays: The catch pool will be limited due to MSCR Adaptive Swim Lessons.

No Tot Time on the following dates: Saturday, June 28; Saturday, July 19; Saturday, July 26 and Saturday, August 16

Candidates must apply and be hired before the start of the class.

  • Friday, May 30: 5:00 - 9:00pm

  • Sunday, June 1: 8:30am - 6:00pm 

Goodman Waves Swim & Dive Team

The Goodman Waves, Madison’s only public swim & dive team, is one of the 13 teams that competes in the All-City Swim and Dive League, a recreational summer swim & dive league that has been in Madison for over 50 years.

2025 Meets at Goodman Pool

• Friday, June 13: Dive Meet, 3-7pm
• Friday, June 27: Dive Meet, 3-7pm
• Friday, July 18: Dive Meet, 3-7pm
• Saturday, July 19: Swim Meet, 8am-12pm
• Saturday, July 26: Swim Meet, 8am-12pm
