The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last 24 hours.

Number of calls
From 6:00am on April 2 to 6:00am on April 3, we received 406 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:
- Central: 47
- East: 87
- Midtown: 74
- North: 73
- South: 56
- West: 60
- Other: 9
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the city. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Thursday, April 2:
- 8:43am - East – Check Person: A caller to dispatch reported that her elderly mother with dementia had left the house after an argument. Officers located the woman, placed her into protective custody and transported her to a hospital.
- 9:05am - South – Traffic Proactive: Officers monitored vehicle speeds and conducted traffic stops. Officers issued 20 citations and 9 warnings.
- 11:01am - Central – Death Investigation: Officers responded to a residence where a 72-year-old man was found deceased. Nothing suspicious on scene.
- 2:11pm - East – Disturbance: Officers responded to a business where the 35-year-old female suspect was yelling and throwing things. The suspect was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
- 8:40pm - North – OMVWI: Officers responded to the intersection of N First St and E Dayton St where the suspect vehicle sideswiped a vehicle while changing lanes. The 49-year-old male suspect was unable to perform SFST as he was too heavily intoxicated to stand up. The suspect was arrested for OWI 4th.
Friday, April 3:
- 2:07am - Central – Trespass: Officers responded to a building where security staff had asked the 52-year-old male suspect to leave the premises. The suspect was arrested and cited for trespass.
- 4:18am - East – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a residence where the victim reported that the 35-year-old male suspect had struck her multiple times. The suspect was arrested and charged with domestic battery and disorderly conduct.
