The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last 24 hours.

Number of calls
From 6:00am on April 23 to 6:00am on April 24, we received 486 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:
- Central: 101
- East: 101
- Midtown: 73
- North: 76
- South: 55
- West: 64
- Other: 16
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the city. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Thursday, April 23:
Priority calls only from 4:32pm to 11:02pm due to calls for service.
- 7:25am - West – ATL Person: The DOC issued a warrant for the arrest of a 49-year-old male suspect. Officers were unable to locate the suspect, who remains at large.
- 9:21am - North – Sexual Assault of a Child: Officers accompanied CPS for an interview of a juvenile who wished to report a sexual assault. Officers developed probable cause to arrest the 39-year-old male suspect who remains at large.
- 9:49am - South – Traffic Arrest: An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had an expired registration. The 18-year-old male suspect/driver was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession with intent THC.
- 10:43am - West – Runaway Juvenile: A mother reported that her 12-year-old daughter had run away. The juvenile was listed as missing and an ATL was aired.
- 12:00n - Central – Disturbance: Officers responded to a business where the 55-year-old male suspect was yelling profanity at the business owner and passersby. The suspect was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
- 2:20pm - Midtown – OMVWI: Officers responded to a parking lot where the 48-year-old male suspect was seated in the driver seat of his vehicle, unresponsive, with the vehicle running. The suspect was arrested and charged with OWI 4th, possession of paraphernalia and possession of fentanyl.
- 3:46pm - Central – Traffic Crash: Officers responded to W Dayton St at East Campus Mall where the 71-year-old male driver struck the victim who was riding a scooter in the crosswalk. The driver remained on scene and was cooperative. The driver was released with a citation.
- 6:42pm - Central – Damage to Property: Officers responded to the 600 block of E Johnson St where the 61-year-old male suspect was seen checking car door handles and throwing a brick at a car to break the window. The suspect was arrested and charged with trespass to property, trespass to vehicle, obstructing, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- 8:50pm - Central – Traffic Crash: A 58-year-old male pedestrian was crossing an intersection against a light and was struck by a vehicle. The suspect was cited for obstruction as he would not identify himself to police, sudden pedestrian movement, and threats to LE.
Friday, April 24:
Priority calls only from 4:07am to 5:04am due to calls for service.
- 12:04am - East – OMVWI: Officers responded to a crash where the 46-year-old male driver/suspect struck a parked vehicle. The suspect was arrested and charged for OWI 6th.
