The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last 24 hours.

Number of calls
From 6:00am on December 16 to 6:00am on December 17, we received 479 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:
- Central: 74
- East: 104
- Midtown: 82
- North: 95
- South: 50
- West: 61
- Other: 13
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the city. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Tuesday, December 16:
- 6:04am - South – Runaway Juvenile: A father reported that his 12-year-old son had run away. Later the same morning an aunt reported the juvenile was at her home. Officers transported the juvenile home to his father.
- 12:48pm - East – Unwanted Person: Officers responded to the UPS store where the 28-year-old male suspect refused to leave after being asked by staff. The suspect was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
- 1:31pm - Midtown – Robbery: Officers responded to Rocky's Liquor where staff confronted the 44-year-old male suspect about stealing. The suspect assaulted the staff member when she attempted to prevent the suspect from leaving. The suspect was arrested and charged with robbery with use of force and resisting arrest.
- 1:32pm - North – Adult Arrested Person: Officers conducted a traffic stop on a suspect vehicle. The 20-year-old male suspect was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by an adjudicated juvenile.
- 2:33pm - East – OMVWI: Officers contacted a 57-year-old male suspect who was driving around looking for someone he reported had tried to rob him. Officers determined the suspect was under the influence. The suspect was arrested and charged with OWI 7th.
- 11:32pm - East – OMVWI: An officer conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle. The 35-year-old suspect was cited for OWI 1st.
Wednesday, December 17:
- 1:06am - Central – Adult Arrest Warrant: DOC requested that officers take into custody a 21-year-old male suspect for a probation/parole violation. Officers located the suspect and transported him to the jail without incident.
