Number of calls
From 6:00am on February 19 to 6:00am on February 20, we received 451 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:

- West: 67
- Other: 15
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the city. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Thursday, February 19:
Priority calls only from 7:42am to 8:06am, from 9:08am to 1:29pm, and from 6:32pm to 8:24pm due to calls for service.
- 7:38am - East – Check Person: Officers responded to a residence where a woman reported hearing the slide of a gun being racked. Officers determined that mental health issues were a factor. Officers ensured that everyone in the apartment was safe and uninjured. Officers contacted Journey Mental Health.
- 7:53am - West – Death Investigation: Officers responded to a residence where an 83-year-old man was found deceased. Nothing suspicious on scene.
- 8:24am - Midtown – Adult Arrested Person: DOC staff requested that officers attempt to take a 29-year-old male suspect into custody. The suspect was arrested and newly charged with 2nd degree reckless endangering safety and eluding.
- 9:21am - North – Attempted Homicide: Officers responded to a residence where a 19-year-old male died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A 16-year-old male victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital. Investigation continuing.
- 1:58pm - East – Violation of Court Order: Officers responded to a residence where the 67-year-old female suspect was present despite having a court order prohibiting her from being on the property. The suspect was arrested and charged with two counts of bail jumping.
- 3:49pm - Midtown – Retail Theft: Officers responded to Target where the 30-year-old female suspect came into the store twice and stole a bottle of alcohol. The suspect was arrested and charged with retail theft, obstructing and trespass.
- 6:54pm - East – Traffic Crash: Officers responded to E Washington Ave at Marquette St where the 40-year-old female driver struck a pedestrian. Investigation continuing.
