The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last 24 hours.

Number of calls
From 6:00am on June 10 to 6:00am on June 11, we received 618 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:
- Central: 98
- East: 130
- Midtown: 145
- North: 91
- South: 55
- West: 88
- Other: 11
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Wednesday, June 10:
Priority calls only from 2:18pm to 5:03pm due to calls for service.
Priority calls only from 5:48pm to 9:21pm due to calls for service.
- 8:26am – East – Death Investigation: Officers received a request to check on the welfare of a 54-year-old female. Entry made to the residence and the subject was located deceased. Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified at this time.
- 12:35pm – East – Death Investigation: Officers responded to a residence for a report of a deceased subject (75-year-old male). Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.
- 3:54pm – West – Child Abuse: Officers responded to a report of child abuse. CPS notified. Investigation continuing.
- 5:36pm – North – Mental Health Conveyance: Officers responded to a report of a subject making suicidal statements. An emergency detention was sought/approved. The subject was transported to Winnebago.
- 5:39pm – East – Disturbance: An officer observed a disturbance take place between two subjects in the 2600 block of E. Washington Ave. Contact made with both subjects. Probable cause not developed. A 55-year-old male subject was arrested on a probation/parole hold.
- 5:50pm – West – Traffic Stop: Traffic stop conducted. Open intoxicants observed in plain view. Driver consented to a search of the vehicle which resulted in a loaded handgun being located. A 27-year-old male subject was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon. A 24-year-old female subject was arrested on a probation hold.
- 10:25pm – Central – Check Person: Officers received a request to check the welfare of a possible suicidal subject (28-year-old male). Contact made with the subject. Officers went to place the subject into protective custody when they resisted and caused a disturbance. An emergency detention evaluation was conducted and not supported. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting.
Thursday, June 11:
- 2:35am – Central – Traffic Arrest: A traffic stop was conducted after a 29-year-old male subject/driver cut off an officer which almost resulted in a crash. The driver was found to be impaired. The subject resisted officers. The subject was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (4th offense), resisting, and possession with intent to deliver marijuana.
- 3:55am – North – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 40-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic battery to an elder, criminal damage to property, and domestic disorderly conduct.
