Number of calls
From 6:00am on March 11 to 6:00am on March 12, we received 466 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:

- Other: 16
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Wednesday, March 11:
- 5:28am - South – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a residence for a disturbance involving a 40-year-old female subject. The subject was reported to be intoxicated and started a fire by knocking over candles. The subject was kicked out of the residence and she attempted to break back in. The subject was not cooperative with officers and bit an officer. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, resisting, ad battery to law enforcement.
- 9:45am - Midtown – Juvenile Complaint: Officers responded to the CVS on Mineral Point Rd for 5 juveniles stealing merchandise. The merchandise was left and the juveniles all fled on foot. The juveniles were identified and banned from the store. Ages – 16-year-old female, 18-year-old male, 14-year-old female, 15-year-old female, 14-year-old male.
- 2:30pm - Midtown – Death Investigation: Officers responded, along with EMS, to a report of a pulseless non-breathing subject (64-year-old male). The subject was determined to be deceased. Decedent had numerous health/medical concerns. Nothing suspicious identified. Medical Examiner’s office responded.
- 3:15pm - East – Adult Arrested Person: DOC requested MPD locate/arrest a client (78-year-old male) of theirs that is violating their terms of supervision. The subject was located and arrested on the probation/parole warrant.
- 5:33pm - Central – Violation of a Court Order: Officers responded to a residence for a violation of a court order complaint involving a 44-year-old male subject. The subject went to a residence that is occupied by two victims that he is ordered to not be around. The subject was arrested for violation of a court order and misdemeanor bail jumping.
- 6:07pm - Midtown – Adult Arrested Person: Officers responded to a residence for a report of an unwanted subject (28-year-old male). The subject was staying with the caller for a few days. The subject was asked to leave and they refused. The subject was arrested for trespassing (municipal).
- 6:32pm – East – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a residence for a disturbance involving a 26-year-old female subject. The subject threatened to kill the victim’s unborn child. The subject charged at the victim and attempted to tackle/grab them. Another subject intervened. The victim armed themselves with a knife. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct (2 counts).
- 6:42pm - Midtown – Domestic Disturbance: An officer was in the 4200 block of the W. Beltline when they were flagged down by a victim who reported they had been physically assaulted by a 43-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct.
Thursday, March 12:
- 12:53am – South – Residential Burglary: Victim reports an unknown subject broke into their vehicle and used the garage door opener to access the residence where a handbag was stolen. Area canvassed. Investigation continuing.
- 2:21am - North – Check Person: Officers responded to a local hospital for a subject causing a disturbance. The subject was brought to the ER by another law enforcement agency for a mental health evaluation. Emergency detention being sought. Final outcome pending.
