Number of calls
From 6:00am on May 7 to 6:00am on May 8, we received 479 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:

- Other: 11
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the city. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Thursday, May 7:
Priority calls only from 3:43pm to 4:05pm, from 6:20pm to 8:15pm, and from 9:17pm to 11:05pm due to calls for service.
- 8:57am - North – Stolen Auto: Officers responded to a residence where the victim reported his car was stolen. The vehicle was listed in NCIC as stolen and an ATL was aired.
- 10:38am - Midtown – Mental Health Conveyance: Officers responded to a hospital to place a patient under an emergency detention and convey him to the psychiatric ward. The conveyance took place without issue.
- 10:40am - East – Death Investigation: Officers responded to a residence to check the welfare of a 60-year-old man. Officers located the man deceased. Nothing suspicious on scene.
- 12:46pm - East – OMVWI: The 40-year-old male suspect lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a utility pole. The suspect fled the scene but was apprehended by officers. The suspect was arrested and charged with OWI 4th and resisting.
- 5:15pm - Central– Strong Arm Robbery: Officers responded to a business where two 18-year-old male suspects committed a robbery. Both suspects were arrested and charged with armed robbery and resisting.
- 7:08pm - Central – Theft from Auto: Officers responded to the 200 block of W Gilman St where the 61-year-old male suspect was entering vehicles and stealing valuables. The suspect was arrested and charged with theft, trespass to vehicle and bail jumping.
- 8:33pm - West – Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a residence where the victim reported the 40-year-old male suspect, who had a warrant for his arrest, was present. When officers arrived, the suspect fled but was located hiding nearby. The suspect was arrested and newly charged with domestic disorderly conduct and resisting.
- 8:58pm - North – Disturbance: Officers responded to Kwik Trip where the 40-year-old male suspect threatened another customer and staff and was yelling in the store. The suspect was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing.
Friday, May 8:
- 12:54am - Central – Sexual Assault: Officers responded to the 500 block of N Lake Street where witnesses reported two male subjects were beating up another male subject. Officers learned that the male being beaten had groped a female victim in a bar. This 53-year-old suspect was arrested for 4th degree sexual assault. A 19-year-old male suspect was cited for disorderly conduct. The second male who was beating the 53-year-old suspect was not located.
- 1:32am - Central – Disturbance: While officers were in the 700 block of State St on a different call, the 33-year-old male suspect ran up to a squad, punched it and yelled at officers. Officers apprehended the suspect who was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting.
