Number of calls
From 6:00am on October 14 to 6:00am on October 15, we received 385 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:
- Central: 72
- East: 73
- Midtown: 54
- North: 79
- South: 38
- West: 59
- Other: 10
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.
Notable calls
Tuesday, October 14:
- 7:20am - South – Death Investigation: Officers responded to a report of a deceased subject (46-year-old female). Death self-inflicted. Nothing suspicious identified.
- 2:04pm - North – Battery: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 33-year-old male subject. Victim sustained injuries that required stitches. The suspect was arrested for substantial battery.
- 3:08pm - East – Death Investigation: Officers received a request to check the welfare of a 38-year-old male subject. Entry made to the residence and the subject was located deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Nothing suspicious identified.
Wednesday, October 15:
- 1:31am - North – Sexual Assault: Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault. Investigation continuing.
